The Song and Dance Group ? Żeńcy Wielkopolscy? guests international folk groups and was twice the organizer of the International Folk Festival ?Mid-summer Eve Folk Meetings?.

In 1998 and 2001 received grants from the European Programme ?Youth? for organizing ?Youth meetings ? Nietążkowo?.

In June 2001 the group took part, together with some famous actors in the opening of the heritage film park ?Soplicowo? in Cichowo.

The meeting with the Pope John Paul II on St Peter?s Square in the Vatican was an important event in the history of the group.
